I’m still Singapore’s youngest Grand Prix winner at The One Show.
I once won a chicken wing eating competition.
I am immortalised as a mascot for a big global brand.
The lie: I have not won a chicken wing eating competition. Yet.
Here’s a proper bio if you want to know more…
'Good and Nice'. It’s easy to dismiss these 3 words as corporate Kool-Aid pumped through the water-cooler systems at BBH. But they're the guiding principles for my advertising career. Why? It’s easy to hide behind egos and eccentricities, but much harder to consistently do great – impactful – work, and help everyone feel so damn good while doing it.
'Good and Nice' has helped me become Singapore’s first-ever Grand Prix winner at The One Show. It has fuelled every campaign that I did: from relaunching a vodka brand in 25 markets from Singapore, to globally leading the Mulberry account and creating their most-successful bag launch in recent years, to crafting a storytelling format for Nike that was deployed globally, to creating work that made me the most awarded creative at Effie 2018.
To dial up the ‘Nice’ bit, I am also actively part of the agency’s Culture Club and Mental Health teams. (I influence workplace policies, but I also throw year-end parties with free-flow drinks that make Linda from Finance become BFFs with Mason from Creative).
Along the way, I picked up metal at awards shows such as The One Show, Cannes, D&AD, Clio, Spikes, Effie, AdStars, Creative Circle Awards, Webby, Mobius, Red Dot Design. I’m also the winner of The One Show’s Next Creative Leader Award 2022.
As Creative Director at Wunderman Thompson Australia (Melbourne), I look after FMCG, Luxury and Education accounts. I am also currently optioning an animated film about an insecure pre-teen rapping whale.
